So you guys I got an oil leak and ive found the source it seems like the actual oil filter and housing that connects to the block are leaking but not the one that comes in a kit. Can i get a second opinion doesn't seem to bad of a fix I just don't want to be replacing endless parts.

It's just seals, you can definitely handle it.
