I rented a M2 for 3 days so I'll be stomping the Autobahn and the ring. We'll see if the rumors about getting banned from the rental car companies for taking their cars to the ring are true.

If anyone has junk inner and outer tie rods, I need them for measuring purposes for a project I'm working on at school.
Joints can be completely trashed - as long as the rods aren't bent themselves.

I should have a few pairs do you need measurements or them shipped to you?

                Measurements would be awesome man.

Just need the lengths of each inner and outer rod, and every thread size:
                Balljoint nut size and thread
Male and female thread where they connect.
Maybe the threading where it goes in the rack.

You can also ship them to me and I'll pay you for it
                :^)

You can get the thread pitches from realoem. I don't mind taking a few measurements! PM me your cell.

Anyone have issues with squeaking poly bushings in the trailing arms? The damn things in my car are like a month old and I used the entire packs of grease when I installed them.

Which did you use? I don't think I put any grease at all... no squeaking. Condor bushings.

Though I get a rather loud clunk when the rear goes over bumps, big or small. Not sure if thats related to the rtabs, poly subframe mounts or shit rear shocks

                          Ireland engineering, the black ones.

Your clunk could be the upper shock tower mounts.

                            Idk thats weird.

Initially I suspected the RSMs and swapped the megan/cheap mounts for GC mounts which made no difference

I get that loud clunk on my passenger side as well. Not sure what it is but if i pull up on the car just enough i could see that the shock isnt sitting firmly on the mount.
