Anyone know someone who can evacuate/remove R12 Freon from a car? I want to avoid just releasing it.

It might be hard finding someone who has a machine with r12 fittings... Lemme check to see if I have my old ones, but if my memory serves me correctly, they were leaking and I never replaced them.

I mean we don't even know if the ozone is really there.... ya know? Like, I can't even see it, so let that shit out, boy!!!!

jk don't do that.. I'll check my shop rn

You can give the place I used to work a call, they're in Anaheim Hills if you want to make the drive, not sure where you are. Its called Ambassador Automotive (714) 970-2525 , pretty sure the machine we had could evac r12 systems.

Yeah Burg let me know. I’d like it to be saved by someone (especially an e30 person) if possible.

Thanks for the tip Rob. I’m in Silver Lake so it’s a bit of a drive but not too bad.

No problem man, if Mrburgandy and his sexy bikini clad lady friend can't help you hopefully they can :) or you could call Gary's Radiator in Fullerton, that place in an experience in itself. Nice guy who runs it, looks like a member of ZZ Top.

Also, are you gonna build the aluminum monster part deux?

Just happened across an r12 manifold gauge set that's been lurking in the shop I'm at. Would this work with your setup?

I’m so dumb. I forgot I have r12 lines on my machine right now, but I’m using an adapter for r134
