What part are you going to, there are some amazing canyon roads on the way to Flagstaff. I've never seen anything like it.

Ha - just Phoenix metro area, helping GF move to dental school in Mesa. I DO need to venture more north though sometime, do you go to NAU?

I go to Embry Riddle in Prescott. Hour and a half from Phoenix. Highway 89 outside of Prescott. Is about 15 miles of big turns, elevation changes, and tight turns. No public road I have ever been on compares. And I've driven the Nurnberg Ring.

It's also the most dangerous road in AZ according to the locals, so there's that.

Am I being paranoid? I want to try and do a pre smog but I dont want pay for like 3 tests. Could use recommendations for shops that have pre-test
Well, if the DME sees the temperature as below normal operating temperature it will make the mixture rich, which could cause higher then normal emissions. If you're running at what the DME interprets to be normal operating temperature you'll be fine. Check to see how hot it's getting with an infrared thermometer. If you drive it hard does it eventually reach normal temp on the gauge?

Night drive: would the people prefer April 13th or the 20th?
Meet at 11pm. I don't want to take responsibility for this, I'm just throwing this idea together.

I could have my permission slip by the 20th, granted I know where we're headed.

                      Okay, April 20th.

                      Now pick, A, B, or C.

I kinda like A most but I think B is quieter?
