    I see no reason it would have to be at TDC. The timing belt or chain is not connected to the crank yet and all valves are closed. I had it at TDC anyway when I put my head on so I wouldn't forget later.

                      As long as the valves are all closed (no cam installed?), you don't need to worry about it until you start opening the valves.
                      With a cam installed, align the head and block to their timing marks. You don't want to risk mashing valves against the pistons.

                          Fail/cool story of the day: Leaving my friend's house I came to a street light and just before the light turned green I decided to play with the headlights. As soon as I popped it back one click the whole car shut down! No power, nothing... After trying everything, I hopped to the back after waving people by and put the loose battery terminal back on XD I had only hand tightened it the day before

                            Tuck that rear bumper nic. Looks good otherwise. On a side note anyone know of a 2002 roundie for sale or trade for my524td. Been driving the hell out of this thing and i feel its just to big for me. Never even use the rear doors. I'll give up the fuel economy for style.
