Jim, how much was the tint job? If you don't mine me asking

I paid cash with no receipt so he gave me a better price. Total out the door for 5 windows was $300 for removable of old tint and install. I know that I paid more due to the shape of the old tint and time involved to remove it. The installer has been tinting windows for over 20 years and came very highly recommended. I called them to check on the price of the light blue tint and the material costs are about the same as the tint I had installed.

They were a little nervous that I was quoting the price I got because he said that they gave me a good deal due to who referred me to their shop. Normal cost would have been $450-$500 to do this over the counter without the cash deal and referral.

Jim, I think that's a great price considering how horrible removing old tint can be. :)

You should do the windshield though. I did a very light tint on my M3 windshield and it is amazing.

Has anyone used a porter cable 7424xp to polish their car? I just washed and clayed my car and went to use the polisher and even under it's own weight it wont turn. On any speed it wont turn unless there is no pressure what so ever. Could this be a defective unit?
