Im on stock rotors and pagid street pads. The bite great but very very dusty. I had no issues at the track with them :D pretty cheap. Think it was 35ish for front pads.

My next set of rotors will be the absolute cheapest ones i can get. Spec e30 guys use whatever rotors they can get at the cheapest price mainly cause it doesn't really matter. Pad is going to have a MUCH greater effect on braking performance (in an e30 at least).

but with aftermarket pads. you are just gonna burn right through rotors.

YES, I 100% agree. Plus on such a small rotor all the drilled and slotted pooty seems kind of silly.

FRS/BRZ autox or track day event at ACS this weekend. All cars welcome. Think I want to go to watch them in action and see if my can of whoop ass has not yet expired. ( I bet it's close and full of more hot air than anything else ;-) )

2800lbs and 200 hp. Not much room for hot air. Tons of room for bad driving though.

Jesse's healthy m20b25 was dead even with his friend's FRS.
It was kind of funny. Start to finish.
