Hmm... just got this strange email in reply to my Craigslist ad for the rims I am selling.



Anyone want to call the scammer and have some fun?

haha, i get emails like that all the time, i go along with it though. i try to have them send me double to triple my amount in cashiers check otherwise i will not be okay with the deal. they usually stop. you know, those things actually look legit? they seriously look real, and i see how these scams actually work.

Yea my buddy has about 40 of these checks, i think hes collectin them...theres little thigs like routing numbers dont match the area, or zip doesnt match the state, or the city doesnt match the state etc. that make them fake

lol 40. yep. my uncle went along with one and they sent him a total of $1200 in 2 cashier checks and they look absolutely identical. he went to the bank and asked if they could verify if they were real and of course they came back saying the routing numbers didn't match.

it's brilliant really, all they need is one idiot, and then that person goes, cashes them, keeps their money and returns the rest to the scammer, when the bank/check cashing place finds out they are fakes, the person gets busted for fraud when all they did was cash it for them.

The BMP bumper scrapes on everything. One of the main reason i cut mine in half to mount on a real bumper. I was referring to the oilpan.

Throwing money at it. lol. I had a fiberglass shop do the work. Basically the cut off the fake bumper and added a lip in its place. I will weld a brace to the valance to hold the lip up similar to how the mtech mounts.
