anyone try the string method for adjusting toe up front? i really need to get it close for the time being and would like some tips and easy tricks( if you have discovered any). thanks

Main thing is the Vanos but I gave Chris a long list of shit I've been neglecting.

i've yet had to do my vanos. still sounds fine. i'm nearing 200k too.

Thanks to everyone who helped, Im never starting another "wont start" thread again. Im just gonna ask you guys.

Feels so good to hear the bitch start on the first try, never thought i would miss the sound of a sewing machine.

funny, same thing happened to mine. it just lost power, came back and then died. and just kept cranking. couldn't figure it out. towed it home, started right up. checked everything in the morning and replaced the coil and never had an issue again with the car.

I use it whenever I do suspension mods to get the toe close before the alignment shop dials it in. I also use a level on the rims to get the camber close.
