i didnt think the early e30's and the early early e30 were that different other than the bumper surounds and lower seat brackets. but it would seem that my 84 325's front steel valance is smaller than my fiancees 87 325. i was gonna swap the bottom lips but the sides are wayy off. when did this change over? i DD a 86 325, but i run the ES cowcatcher so i never played with the steel valance to see if it was short aswell

Duuude they are way different! I showed you with mine remember? lol
-84/85 bumpers stick out further with larger reflectors and surrounds
-Front valance is sloped back and kinda mimics the grill angle
-Has brake cooling ducts in the front lip; shorter due to said rake in valance

86/87 cars were the start of i motors with oil coolers so the valance goes straight down. This is why I had an oil cooler sticking out of my valance; wouldn't fit back there.

Same applies to euro valances just that they have integrated fogs

Bolts snapping off into the hub seem to be a common theme with adapters. Is it the bolt material not being strong enough?

The key broke off inside the cylinder and broke the clylinder upon removal of the unit. da fuk. :(

Just put the one from her car on your project swap them. Or if you want, I still have my bronzit 85 valance that will fit on her car.
