i was at the yard about a month ago, saw an early model with late model tails....build date i believe was about 7/87 ish....

i would provide pics, but my phone brokeded and they couldnt put my pics onto my new phone

Yea that's correct. My car came stock with late valences but diving board bumpers. These were the 1988 models. The ones that you could a direct metal to plastic bumper conversion without extensive body work/fabrication due to the rear of the car

IIRC, verts were always a direct swap regardless of year because of their rear wheel arch. It was the wheel arch that made db to plastic conversion a pita for early models, but verts had always had the same rear wheel arch as the late models. Someone correct me if I'm wrong
