I have one. They're pretty good--probably as good as it gets for a consumer-level 2.1 setup.

hows the clarity/bass? i read the sub cant really hit those low tones. I'd probably just buy a used/refurb set. theyre going for around 90 shipped on ebay.

has a severe lurching problem, but i was going to sort that out and ask $7-800, bring your own wheels. motor sounds healthy enough and no mixing.

They do bolt up to the same spot. I ran in to the same problem and ended up just using the rear strut bar. You could always get longer bolts if you want both.

Do the mounting points of the rear strut bar serve the same purpose as the reinforcement plates. I mean I know its not what its meant for but itd be nice if its a "side effect"

I was about to grab a set of rear shock mount reinforcement plates but had a question. I also wanted to put a rear strut bar on my car. Both the plates and the bar built up to the same spot correct? And, do I still need the plates if I was running that bar. If so, will putting both in require me to run longer bolts?

The good news is that you should have lots of heads now. ;) Sorry for your loss.

Going to change the rear brakes on the 540. My buddy the UPS guy came yesterday.



Rotors are cross drilled Zimmerman that were on sale for $29 each and pads are Akebono Euro Premium which should keep the dust down.
