What are you doing to your dash? I am looking to have two two-piece 2002 dashboards reupholstered, along with the center console. Do you recommend the place?

Im flying up to San Jose and driving back down to LA on Sunday. If there is something you have been dying for in between and couldn't make the drive let me know. I might be able to pick it up if the seller isnt too far off the path.

Well to my defense I've never driven a stock S4. Maybe his 350whp is adding to the fun factor, but everything else is stock suspension included.
I haven't driven it like an asshat yet around turns though; I'd rather not lol.

Time to start sprucing up the interior. I've been holding on to pristine m3 interior parts for the last year or two and i need to start clearing out my office space. But i don't want awesome seats and a cracked dash so its time to do something about it. Well first off i have an almost crack free dash but almost ain't gonnah cut it. So i've decided to wrap it. I was considering leather for the longest but decided against it since my car is always outside in the sun and i'm not trying to build a show car. Just trying to create a nice environment to relax in. So i took a silver permanent marker and started drawing where and how i want the separations.



The centerconsole will be identical to the the mtech 2 leather interiors. I took some pics of kartoyz interior for reference.



Here is a teaser pic of a leather one that was done for a soon to be well known right hand drive, supercharged s54, mtech sedan.




I looked at a couple options and settled on this pattern. Its Mercedes factory material.




They have one that is almost identical to the e30 factory grain for those who don't want to do their center console, glove box, a pillars, etc.

Everyone comparing an bone stock e46 M3 to what? a modified e30? A 350whp modified s4? Not really an apples to apples comparison...For a bone stock car it's like Nigel said a great daily driver, but I'll add, that is capable of being tossed around when asked.

I didn't like it!
I'm not comparing it to anything nor did I say so. I did not like driving it as a car to drive if I had to find a ~$15k car to drive.
My e30 isn't the only car I drive in my household lol, so I'm not being bias. I simply didn't like the damn car! Felt overrated.

Yes I felt it was oveated.
Blindly? I would choose the M3 because I'd rather pick up my GF in it, mod it, and generally learn more about it; it's a cool vehicle.
If I were to have to daily one of the two for the rest of my career job I'd choose the S4. Everything inside of it is nicer and drives easier in my opinion.
