ebay sellers help! Some schmuck won my auction (and signed up the same day). He was supposed to send the $500 deposit within 48 hours. That has come and gone. Ive sent him messages, the phone # on his profile doesnt work. I knew it was bogus but ebay wouldnt do anything about it while my auction was going on. Not sure what I can do.

How did that seal/molding issue work out jim?

Things worked out great Terry. Gasket orientation fixed the wrinkles in the molding. The factory bead was 3mm from the body on the test fit so we used about 5mm of the sealant on top of that. You could see through the windshield that we got good bonding between the glass and the body. I will take off the straps after 24 hours. If the windshield does not crack we should be golden.

I will be so glad when this is over, way too much stress for an old man.
Next up Plenum and valve cover refinishing and gauge wiring. But not until after Afest. BTW, Boris Said BMW of Murrieta, BMWCCA meet next weekend. You should come down for this one and test drive the new X series for your wife's next car my rich friend.
