    Because I do. I need to raise the rear of the car a tad bit.

                the best way to tell is the stamped numbers on the block by the dip stick, it will have the number 30 or 25 on it representing either 3 liter or 2.5 liters or you can check the vin at the back of the block. there are a few other ways.

                  vin.

                  WBS = s5x
                  WBA = m5x

                  Then i guess its either 30 or 32 for s50/52

                      it would be easy spotting an s52 though.

                        Any of you ever deal with a Febi csb? Compared to the one I saw at my dealership, this one looks... Worn. But it's also 1/3rd the price and I'll never see it. Simple case of you get what you pay for?

                          It shouldn't have that wear if it is a new part...

                            straight from BMA, yo.
                            Rubber seems fresh.
                            BMA listing doesn't suggest it's "refurb'd"

                              I remember reading some stuff on febi csbs on a 190. Now I cant remember if it was junk or not. Vaguely remember it making noise after a while.

                                And why is that? Looks exactly like M52.

                                If the rubber and bearing look good don't worry about.

                                Febi is the only brand I run and they've always been great.
