i was referring to the m50/s50/2. they are the most popular swaps. but if you were to check the difference from an s52 and m52 then once again, the numbers.

Not my ad and I don't even know if they're still available, so not putting the link in the parts for sale thread.

Every couple days for the last month I've looked these up and sighed longingly. One day, ladies. One day...

Any info would be greatly appreciated. Im getting ancy i want an e30!

best way to know is to go test drive it. if you have access to a friends known good running e30, or have tested multiple e30s then you can compare and see if it feels nice and strong. the great thing about e30s and generally all older bmw motors, they can run forever before needing anything major done to the engine. so, more than likely, you probably won't need a rebuild unless this guy has really thrashed it.

135k is very low mileage for a car that's rounding 25 years old. If the odometer is working and the Carfax doesn't say otherwise I'd say you found yourself a good car.

M20 engines can go 400k easily. It's all about maintenance. Not likely the car needs a rebuild.

Anyone here go to Cal-Poly Pomona? Thinking about going back to school for my Masters and from what I've heard they have a great Mechanical Engineering program. Looking for what people that go to the school have to say about it, because the school I have my Associates and Bachelors from has great reviews but I hated it.
