Anyone know what's a good fluid to use on my 5 speed? (getrag 260) I heard you need to check the color tag on the tranny itself to use the proper fluid. I checked mines and couldn't find it so I'm wondering what's something good and safe to use. My cars an '89 325i if that helps.

I tried searching on the search bar above, but couldn't find anything.

^^^this I just bought some Mobil 1 75/90 It was ~$10, bought 3 total since Im doing the diff soon. I used about 1.5L on the transmission

Thinking about getting a stock 3" MAF and intake elbow for my 24v swap. I really want to take my car to the BAR and I know they will fail me because of the VAC intake elbow, but there isnt a factory intake elbow that will go from the factory TB to a 3.5" MAF, is there?

Bought Redline MTL today for $14.85 a bottle, only $5 more not all that bad... Redline Gl-5 diff oil same price

As long as it's a GL-4 or non- sulfur you'll be okay, diff oil has sulfer as lsd additive and will ruin brass syncros I believe, i'm sure someone else will chime in

hmm maybe socal prices are diff, but the price up here for the two are negligible if not the same.
