shake the shit out of the exhaust and the heat shield. Anywhere that metal to metal contact could be happening. Looks for marks where whatever is shaking could be hitting something else causing the noise.

These are the times I wish that I was closer to my LA friends. You guys have a great group going on up there. The E30 scene in San Diego is just not the same as it use to be.
