Almost finished with my e36 rack and pinion. I'm excited just having some issues with binding and the upper knuckle hitting the firewall.
Bleh. I regret not going for the Z3 rack. The e36 rack is barely better. But yes, it did eliminate the wobble. Good luck with bending the ps line, a sturdy vice is needed.

I'm running no power steering. Did you guys have to cut the firewall and trim some of the steering joint?
Was reading that some people didn't have to trim anything. I'm changing my rack and pinion because I got my subframe reinforced and thought might as well since I replaced all the bushings and it was the last thing that could be causing my steering wheel to shake.
Did/does your car have an airbag? Airbag cars have trimming to do. I don't know the specifics because mine doesn't have one. You can find guides by searching google for e36 steering rack swap (or similar).
Also an alignment is a must, make sure to ask them to center the rack in addition to setting the toe. Otherwise they won't know.
OHH wait have you not looked at any guides? You have to shorten the joint and replace the rods with bolts and spacers. That part is irrelevant to airbaged cars. E36 racks aren't a straight swap, the linkage must be modified.
I looked at the guide. I have the spacers but I don't think the linkage will fit. I say that because I got the linkage to fit but I have binding. I don't have a airbag.
Ok I'm in. You'll be the first person to see me with a new haircut, scheduled for 3:30pm.
And I have no idea how I want it cut. I'm freaking out, man.
Alright. I'll give you my honest opinion of it when I see you.
This reminds me that I really need one as well.
Waking up 15min early to arrange my black beauty locks before work is becoming a nuisance - almost as tough as choosing what tie to wear.

My morning hair ritual takes a good 15 as well.
Shower>mousse>blow dry my hair upside down>let it cool down while I prepare for the rest of my routine>work in special pomeade/wax for that perfect dry look>hairspray to perfection.
I have perfect hair for about 4 hours then I begin to rework it as I please and it becomes a thing of beauty.

Remember: volume is power.
and when people ask you how you get your hair like that... you just say
"I woke up like this"
