Can anyone guess as to why my car would make noise when in 3rd gear, upper rpms and let of the gas while still in gear. The noise will sound like when a brake pad is sticking . As soon as I give it gas the noise will go away. If I am in the upper rpms in 3rd and switch gears to 4th gear while I switch gears it makes noise, but the noise will go away as soon as I give it gas. It's weird because if I drive it regularly(non smashing) I don't hear the noise. It's a m20/g260 if it matter. I really can't tell where the noise is coming from.

You need to find out the source of the noise first. Front/rear/driver/pass side/center

Drain the trans oil and see if it's shiny.
One way to check while also doing some maint.

I just changed the oil like a month ago. I did see a lot of metal specs and it was empty. So I put some new Trans oil and it was good, the Trans got quieter. This Trans leaks alot though.

Found the culprit, it was the dust shield for the center support bearing.

Hey.
I bought this cam off a member here acouple years ago and didn't inspect it.
Pretty much got ripped off I payed 300 I think.

So I'm thinking of throwing it away or selling idk what to do.
Just spend $530 on a cat through vac.

Think someone could make use of it ?
