West End has been around a long time. I think Darren was working at Johnson's alignment on Hawthorne before starting his own shop. He has been around for decades and is very popular with racers but he's booked solid most of the time so you'd need an appointment. Don't cancel the appointment either.

Cold Brew is indeed less acidic, the caffeine content is identical to coffee brewed hot with the same quantity of water. The lack of burnt flavor isn't unique to the extraction method either, but is purely in the beans, the roast, and the brewing medium (ie shitty paper filters). In fact, cold brew has *fewer* of the components which comprise coffee's flavour, which leads many coffee snobs to snub it.
They key difference for most consumers is that cold brew is usually made as a concentrate, using the minimum amount of water to properly brew the beans. This is intended to be diluted before ingestion, either with water or milk.
Source: Used to make 20 gallons of cold brew a week for work, friends with coffee nerds.
all I know is I have coffee for 3 days per carafe (coffee snob word?) and for every $8 of coffee I buy from Trader Joes I get ~4 carafe. works for me. Im still working on my coffee snobbery

West End it is, then. How funny, I actually work next to Johnson's a alignment, I see all of their clientele; huge variety, including many race cars that are trailered in.
in car related stuff, I know this group is bias, but it seems like if I want a vintage car to play with a 2002 is a much better deal than the 914 Ive been lusting after. granted the 914 I want already has a built motor and just needs paint whereas the project 2002 Im looking at is a real project and not running... hmmm
something about having a mid engine 2 seater trumps anything BMW, Im losing my mind

914 2.0 would be my pick. I think k some of them are old enough you can do some heavy engine work. I feel like it's one of the easier Porsches to drive as well. Plus it looks like an apple cart
well the one I want is a frankenstein with a 96mm bore and 78.4mm stroke. has ~5k miles on the rebuild and it doesnt leak any oil. the 2002 I want (which is significantly less) has a blown headgasket. I can drive the 914 immediately whereas the 2002 will need an engine built. it does have nicer paint though...
first world problems....
BTW enjoying San Jose? Where exactly did you end up? Close to downtown, or what? Look up Hicks Road. Thats my old stomping grounds
