Any one got any neat tricks for seized bolts? My oil cooler lines are stuck onto my oil filter housing pretty good. I've tried copious amounts of WD40 and also slight heating with torch but it's not budging. Any advice?

Copious amounts of PB Blaster, let soak overnight, apply heat like you mean it.

What fuel are you using with the torch?

Torch should work better than anything.

Butane. It's just a basic benzomatic torch from Home Depot. The blue one with a single knob for gas flow and the lighter switch

            That aint hot enough.

You want to use an oxy fuel torch

I think they may sell fuel cells that use a different gas, that burns almost as hot as an oxy/fuel setup. I'd look into that, since you're using a "hand torch."

Probably try Mapp gas, burns hotter then propane does. Also, wd40 is not a great penetrating oil, PB blaster or fluid film are both great options.

50/50 of acetone and atf works the best.

What exactly are you looking for?

I've had good success with car-part.com which can scan junk yard databases from better yards.

I have a decent stash of good parts back in the Chicago area, but out here I only have 2 late model OE Radios:

                      1. Alpine CM5908 with infrared fader, and
                      2. Pioneer KE-83ZBM

Also looking to do a trunk lid trade:

I have a Black Schwarz 086 trunk lid with a genuine rear spoiler from a 325iS which I am open to trading for a Schwarz with no spoiler
