Having a hard time passing smog. First was high NOx, I thought the intake boot woulda fix it because it had a hole underneath the boot. Second try with new intake boot, result came out gross polluter. Like wtf. After searching, I might need a new cat and O2 sensor. But the deal is, I don't want to get a new cat for 250 or so. That's like paying for an illegal smog(If you know someone let me know) and it sure will pass. Anyone know a cheap place I can buy/want to rent me a working cat?
and i was rocking a dirt airfilter and oilComment

I checked the new intake boot before putting it in. It used to buckle on first gear with the old intake boot and its fine now. I made sure I tightened the clamps and checked for leaks. I didn't find any, so I'm assuming its good. I'll try the O2 sensor. On the other hand, does anyone have a used euro plate filler for sale?Comment

It's tough. I haven't been through this sort of thing in five years. It's a complicated situation, not just some young, high school-ish relationship. I guess you just have to take it at face value and push forward.
Glad to have r3v to wallow away in instead of going outside. Haha.Comment
