I have one, either manual or autotrans style.
The autotrans style has extra holes for access to the convertor bolts.
      FYI: only about $10 new

                Just depends.

You should remove the tie rods to make life easier... Not sure about removing but when we were installing my e30 m3 offset lollipops on some uro control arms.
On the pass side we actually had to grind down the control arm to accommodate the lollipop bushing. It was horrendous, the drivers side was really hard but it would actually stay on.
Passenger side literally could be squeezed on 3/4 of the way with soap and w2-40 and then once you let off pressure it would just pop off slowly but surely.

Moral of the story, never get uro parts there garbage.

What're your guys' opinions on this? I really don't see what can go wrong. It's supposedly the same height as the stock shifter, (but obviously a much shorter throw.)
It uses the oem pivot cup so I really can't see what would go wrong with it. And for $25, it's a steal.

just get a z3 one. going overly short like that actually makes it worse to shift. unless you raise the cut up.

We run one of those $25 shifters in the lemon. The hole for the selector rod is drilled too small from the factory - you'll have to open it up with a drill to fit an e30 rod.

Other than that, no complaints. Short shifts, no rubber to wear out.
