I feel like most gun-conscious people would have thought to pack them where they are easily accessible. But you're right, not ever scenario is like that. However, if they are moving because they are switching bases then guns are often the last thing packed because they are given out of the dispensary when leaving the base.
personal weapons are usually stored at the armory (but this is at base commander's discretion and not true everywhere).
the dispensary (now referred to as TMC, for troop medical clinic, or "tylenol, motrin, and crutches" if you're being a smartass) is where you see the doc.

this. they were his personal weapons. probably packed at the bottom of the uhaul somewhere. Saying that he could've done something different doesn't change anything it just makes you an asshole for pointing out the obvious. But we all knew you'd do it anyways.
Interesting, I have found the z3 shifter to be a bit too notchy. The shifter I got the chance to try as of lately however is the e60 545 or whatever the latest and greatest is. I must say it was rather nice. Granted this was paired up with a zf310, but compared to the stock shifter in my 328 I thought it was short enough without being too difficult to work with. Just my experience though.
The Z3 1.9 shifter is not notchy. It's a great mild upgrade.
I've been a fan of the E60 lever recently though. Put it in 3 cars now I think... :)
If the firearm is 4 feet away and 2 steps away it is not on ones person but is it attended? 5 feet away? 6, and so on. Where does the line between attended and non attended begin? I sure dont know. To some 4 feet away is still attended and to others (sedentary slow walkers, oxygen machine, etc) - 4 feet must seem like a mile.
Unattended is when somebody could easily walk away with it. The last thing any gun owner wants to do is use deadly force, but even worse than that have their shit stolen and enable a murder somewhere.
Frankly I wouldn't want to leave anything else worth $1k+ and easily stealable out of my sight in public either.
his is an 87 and kinda ugly.
but ya s52 swap cars top at 12k mark. here's why. and the shitty part of cars. shit cars have more value than what the should have and nice cars have less. if you have 15K in your pocket to blow on a car, you are rich enough to afford something nicer than an e30. if you have 4k you get what you get. if you have 9k you may not have more money but you get a nice car. but then there are those flukes.... looks at joey with jelly eyes. but Steven you should be able to sell yours for 12k when it's all done.
Also, yours is aa much more desirable color, more desirable wheels, shaved bay which is really cool, if your swap os clean run and BAR'd you will be fine.
Did you fix everything from that mishap into the curb yet?
