what i was worried about is the ref bouncing me for having a used cat in the swap. i know the rules are "you have to have all of the emissions equipment from the donor car", and that means an old OEM cat *should* be okay, but i've heard some of them just decide to be dicks about random shit.past:

I think most people use headers and random crap exhaust because the E36 downpipes hang kinda low, I know mine do. I plan on re-doing my entire exhaust system once Im done with the "Happy dance"Simon

I did some hammering to make mine fit.
I passed BAR with stock cast manifolds, stock midpipe with correct cats, and a Stromung Catback exhaust.
Referee made me change out the obd2 exhaust manifolds back to obd1 manifolds since I was running it through the system as a 95 m3 engine.
It worked.world renown Harry Potter expert
