I like 4 doors

2 doors are honestly nicer for visibility; I will give you that: the B pillar in sedans are a pain for quick lane checks.

But the comfort and versatility of 4doors just can't be beat. I would never own a 4-door e30 for whatever reason, just because that would probably be relegated to "fun-car"

4 door all the way. The 2 doors look better, but the 4 doors is just so user friendly with loading people, groceries and stuff. Plus it makes for cleaning the windows so much easier.

I really only drive the f10. The m4 and alpine e30 stay and my brothers place, and the 323 just sits untouched lol

Since you are that far north just take it to RyanG in Auburn. Eric can only work on cars in san jose, 2+ hours away from you.
