shipping wouldve killed you. No way it wouldve cost $6 unless the seller was going to eat that cost

I had a valance sent to me via greyhound from Virginia and the shipping on it was like 50, I assumed it would come to that if anything. Either way, 395 for a dash is just ridiculous.

Why the hell hasn't an aftermarket dash been made, there's obviously a market for it. Or am I not in the loop on that one

surprisingly complex surface, lot of material, needs to look stock, needs to fit like stock, shipping.....$395 for a used one is probably a lot cheaper than an aftermarket one would have to be to break even. Especially since the average r3v inhabitant won't pay more than $3.50 and some pocket lint, shipped.

You can get an OEM dash new but the material is made from the material used on e36 dashes, but they range from 800-1000 if im not wrong

Damn, I sold a virtually crack free dash for $125 a few months ago.

On a different note, does anyone know if the early m50 e34s share the same auto trans as e30 325i's? I am getting mixed results when I search.

just go all out on the pay-someone-else route. i mean shit, if anyone's got an excuse to do that, it's you- you spend half your week working on other people's cars.

i'm happy to share my research on making m42 long-blocks hotter. if you commit to tearing the engine down, there are swap-in upgrades for a lot of the rotating assembly.
