Why the hell are you talking him into buy a car and fixing it? Dan has no mechanical skills what so ever. I wanted him to buy that e36 just so he would get in trouble by his dad, as well as lose money on it. It could have countless problems.

Dan is so stupid sometimes. If he has $500 why doesn't he spend 1/4 of it to get a damn muffler on his car. He rolled up to school today with the exhaust "gapped" and it was dragging on the ground.

So you'd pay $600 for coils and shocks/struts? How much for just the Coils/adjusters because that's all we can use from that guy. He's asking $500 for the setup with Konis, which are basically the best dampers you can get and probably cost around 75% of the whole kit. I'd offer sub 200 for just the springs/adjusters/hats.

its not for him, he is scouting cars for flipping, other people are making all the payments we just get the car, fix whatever is wrong (the one we were gonna get just needed a grill) and then they sell it and we get a profit.

I'm not entirely sure. I'd do maybe like $150 shipped from him if he does. The e30 kit is $400 brand new, and with that I could pick my exact lengths and rates and I'd get the e30 rear top hats and be sure it'd all fit. His are 6" 450# all around which isn't that great imo.\

And you'll probably have a pretty hard time getting the setup you want for $600. How much are custom valved bilsteins? Even billy sports are what, like $500 new? I'd be iffy putting used shocks in my car, springs i'm not as worried about.

I have alead on some blown bilsteins for cheap. revalve and shorten recently cost someone (nando) $350.
