So yesterday a cop saw me at a red light and pulled over on the side of the road and put on his waiting lights. As soon as I saw him do that I was just like shit I'm getting pulled over, and sure enough when I pass him he pulls out right behind me, runs my plate, and pulls me over. Solely for not having a front license plate.

He verbally told me that there's no fine associated with the ticket but idk, I think it'll be like a normal $25 fixit. I've actually had a cop sign off a brake light ticket for me when I was backed into a spot and as we were leaving he kinda glanced at the front of my car, shrugged, and walked away. I just can't believe that a cop would wait for someone just for that.

verbal warning? if it cost you nothing more than time, you did good.

all those photo-radar and red-light cameras need a front plate on the car so they have your face and your tags in one picture.

not running a front plate breaks a a government revenue stream; you can expect that the cops have been ordered to enforce that shit, every time.

You would think it would be more strictly enforced with all the cameras and such.

I'm glad my cars are registered in New Mexico and we don't run front plates at all. :)

No, it's a written ticket. He just verbally told me "There's no fine associated with this, you just need to have your dad (registered owner) put a plate on and get it signed off by a cop. There's no need to go to court". He was surprisingly cool about everything, commented on the high school I go to when he saw my school ID in my wallet, and didn't even see my registration because I keep it in the trunk (glove box latch broke+convertible).

Just got the"Black Bird" package form Condor Speed Shop! Now im looking for rear springs! Something i can match up with IE3s in the front and bilstein sports all around.
