To me it sounds like you think we are a bunch of racers. Over half of us will compromise performance for appearance. If you see anyone running something bigger than 15 it is obvious as well.

There are hundreds of people in this forum running 17's succesfilly, and I have even seen a few of 18's on non m cars.

I love 17's no matter what anyone says.

You own an M3 and cannot fit 17s right? That is you not the car.

Non M e30 and I am running no adjusters in the rear with 17x9 235/40 with zero rub. 15" wheels fit tiny brakes. You guys need to step away from cheap "race wheels". 3pc build your own et and back spacing. U6L wheels are the only 15 I would track.

BBS RS are the best race wheel on the market. Source and build to suit.

I paid $380 for them and it has 1k miles in it (I don't drive my cabrio very much) and I'm very generous to sell it for $300. If you're running style 5's (E38) you will need some fender rolling all around. Let me know.

Get a skid plate and go to 2-3" of clearance! Your dad is a thinker. My dad would just complain about how I wouldn't be able to maneuver my car around any streets in town lol.

I am not quite ready ready to buy now because I need to fix a few bugs first, but if you still have them I may consider it.
They are sort of wide though.

@Spence I def want to go lower all around, but first a skid plate.

I still really need to freshen up the rear end, get new front/rear shock mounts as well.

No, I bought these from another member (Eyedreeyun). Don't worry, I've gotten back on my relapse (meaning, I'll get bored and sell them) and I'll let you know when they're for sale haha.
