I am in a predicament right now guys. My phone plan is up and have an "upgrade". I currently have a beat to shit HTC Evo 4G, and my options are

-Galaxy Sii for free, and get a $50 best buy gift card
or
-Galaxy Siii for $150, and get a $50 bes tbuy gift card

Anyone have experience with both phones?

Go for the better one. It's like a hundred bucks more now and you're stuck with it for 2 years. Not to mention the phone changes your cellular experience dramatically, and with the amount you spent per month over 2 years, $200 is neglible.

After tossing around the iS, I've been bitten by the 318iS bug. Perfect weight distribution, rev-happy 4-cylinder. Everyone's always proclaiming how nimble the m42 is compared to the m20; I wanna give it a shot myself

I'll probably pick up a 318iC or a 4-door 318i as a future daily one of these days and keep the iS as a weekend driver

CF hoods; can you spray over them with OEM paint? Like.. Will it be as sturdy as say, respraying the metal hoods? Is the 20lbs saved off the front even worth the trouble?

You can. It's up to you whether it's worth the trouble. If you're gonna spray it, might as well get a Fiberglass hood.

Background info:


Bought car with over heating issues
Drove car like a dumb kid and ignored issues (for the most part, I tried a little)
Gas milage went to shit, checked oil, found milkshake.
Was under the assumption it was a blown head gasket.
Pulled it apart, blown head stud, fixed everything and did some valve maintenance.
Put it all back together, go to start, no crank and fuel leak as well.


That is where I am at right now, this whole journey is over about a year and a half of time.

Holy shit spencer. I knew you were taking forever...but wtf. Do some damn work!! Most people do work like that in a weekend, maybe up to a month of no car because of complications but that's still a long ass time.
