i've been told both, to use silicone and to not. I wish i did now! Lol.... Ill see what i can do without pulling the water pump.

i use high temp red rtv on all gaskets idgaf for what it is, everything gets it and have never had a leak. Just smear a thin layer on both sides.

uhhh lifting the engine and trans by just the front will ruin the HG, bolts and lift point.

Yeah water pump gasket.... And yeah I did put it in dry, are you suppose to soak the gasket first?

u need to smudge this crap all over the gasket 10sec before installing the pump

More then likely you'll be better off doing it right the first time and taking it out and redoing it. half ass it now is asking for a full butt load of trouble later.
