ya sorry, one place said 6kg the other said 8kg, im not sure what to believe since mine are not modified struts but inserts that have a tap screw that are about as fake as a coilover could get

Eric, look at this thread before you do J-stock. I was debating them back when I had an e30....and they are nkt a good autox setup. I would spend the little bit more for a proper coilover.

the reason to not get coilovers is i dont want to take the points at autox and i dont want to modify the struts on a real m3.
