How much quoted for an m20 to m20 swap Erix?

I know you said $30/hr, but if I have a complete engine plug and play plus one burly dude, how fast can we finish?

How much quoted for an m20 to m20 swap Erix?

depends on the amount of prep from one engine to the other.
how much cleaning of the engine bay repainting engine etc.
no one yet has has brought me something that was 100% swap-able. but if you magically do, i would charge accordingly

if you brought be a 99% complete and clean engine and clean bay car and 100% of the stuff needed. $400. if i need to swap stuff like injectors intake exhaust do timing belt water pump pan seal. front and rear seals and painting. that will hit $600 and take 3-4 days.

if you want me to build you an engine and swap. that would be about 1500-2k

The engine has been run through by the mechanics at European Recycling; ran the engine in the car before pulling; compression/leak-down tested, so it's a known running engine. Not magic, but close enough


The bay has been cleaned spotless by yours truly when the rad support was out; it is literally as dirt free as you can get with the engine in the bay. There may be some spots in the tranny tunnel, but not likely

The engine on the other hand... Most likely it will only be a long block, so I/we would need to swap everything over (Injectors, Intake/TB/Mani, Exhaust, Etc.) not sure how clean it will be, but I always like clean parts, so if that's included; fire away, fire away

I can supply water pump, oil, coolant, gaskets, and belts if it'll help bring the cost down and take some of the stress off you. I have and can do that work myself even; I just need someone to help get the engine in; most everything else I can do on my own. Shoot, I'll probably do everything but the Front/Rear/Cam seals just to prep the engine for you

sounds like a $600 job. can you get the car to my dad's?
we would strip the block reseal everything minus the head gasket and polish all the parts to look new.
