mr2peak, the quality of the paint is poor and the orange peel and runs and un-evenness of the paint is poor. i've seen more than several cars painted by him. i wouldnt let him touch any of my cars.

in the end, you always get what you pay for.

I sincerely hope this is not the case. The finished cars he had there there looked quite nice. The $800 cars have a much lower finish quality, can't afford to properly sand and prep at that price. I am certainly not going for that.

the glass is meh, but the tint at the top is the right color. ppg isnt made any more and OEM is gonna cost you as much as your paint job.
i do have a new convertible windshield gasket, bought the wrong one for my blue car.

The 28th? I'm leaving back to texas that afternoon :/. Thanksgiving break is way too short. I really think I'll only have time for family and very close friends. I get there Tuesday night and leave Saturday afternoon. I definitely miss the bay area car scene though, damn. Going to meets regularly is great. There's nothing really wrong with Texas but there's so many things about the bay that are just objectively better.
