I'll take some pics later when the rain subsides. Im going to try the ultra quiet resonator to see if makes a difference. My neighbors are going to be giving me the stink eye for a few days.

Haven't dealt with an m20 wire harness in a looong time, but looks like starter + wire.

Hi, does anyone in bay area knows how to do bumper conversion? I did mine but th fitment doesn't look right and people in forum said I need to drill holes use bolt to hold the bumper instead of using the existing guide, which I think I need some help. Many thanks in advance!

                Regards,

here is a pic of an eta one. it's similar. make it goes on the outside stud on the starter solenoid. not the one with the copper ground to the starter. the wire that you are holding goes on to the stud, then the other wire that is the same size goes on the same stud. then a 13mm thin nut.

you should be fine as you have a convertible. if the rain lets up we can work on it this weekend.

Damn so I did have it on right. Must have a short some where or something not hooked up right. Hooked it up there tried to start it and power shut off and battery terminal started to smoke.

you got something way wrong there if the terminal is smoking, you grounded it.

Is it possible for the starter wires to touch and therfore cause a short or what not? Or if I didn't plug the sensors in the right socket, it would cause the same thing
