While this will be my 1st ever actual driving experience at an AutoX event, I go because everyone is super cool and knowledgeable and it's a great way to spend a day. And you get to drive your car as fast as you'd like for less than half of what a speeding ticket costs. Of course we'd all like to drive Laguna, Sonoma, Thunderhill or whatever else any day but AutoX is just so fun and cheap, you can't really beat it imoC6Z

Anyone care to explain why they like it?
The courses we make at Sears Point are very different every time. We've done some where there was a straight that I was doing nearly 90 on, before it did a 180 and went back the same way only to peel off and go a different direction. The great thing about autoX is that it is just like racing on a big track, only very condensed and rapid fire. If you get good at autoX, the big track feels like everything is in slow motion. AutoX keeps your reaction times sharp and really teaches car control and precision. With us, its all about coming out and having fun. We have timing setup, but its not a competition. Super low key.
The next events are: July 16, August 27, and the final event is November 19. There is a chance we might try and hold an event up at Thunderhill as well. Not sure however. http://trackmasters-racing.com/
