How about meeting at the new JD Karting place in Novi? I've run there a few times, decent karts. Not nearly as fast as the gassers out at Kart2Kart, but possibly more accessible since I know there are a quite a few e30 peeps on this side of town.

Since my e30 isn't exactly street-able, I am more than up for a weekday test-and-tune or weekend trackday at Gingerman. I plan to head out there before the CHumpCar race in June anyway, might as well try to make it a fun e30 gathering!

^We need to get some sort of West MI meet going this summer, there's a decent number of E30's in the area, just none of us are social about it haha. Should be a good number out autoXing this year if my last event last year was any indication:

I'm personally not a fan of JD. You just don't get your money's worth compared to Kart-2-Kart, especially with the new karts. We have a group of guys over at my work that go out to Kart-2-Kart every other Tuesday if anyone is interested.

Extreme Indoor Kart Racing (EIKR) in Clio has a really good deal on Wednesday. 8 races for $45, which is decent IMO.

Its like pulling teeth to get Michigan e30 guys to participate in any sort of a meet or get together. Me, nsquared, crazyjew and others have experienced this with previous attempts of meets or events. Nobody ever wants to drive a distance and we're all spread out.

Once I get my m30 swapped e30 on the road again, I'll be looking for some meets tho.

Got to go out in a 535 w/ M30 yesterday after Kart2Kart and now I'm questioning the stroker I wanted. I would love to experience an M30 powered e30 if possible

Main site there. Seems to be predominately stance VW/Audi guys, but I do know of a couple E30's that should be there. If I'm not out racing, I plan on going, just most likely won't have my car in the show.

I marked my calendar. I'll be there. Tho I probably won't be in the show either.

Then the following weekend I'm planning on going to Ted-Fest. Anybody that'd like to caravan to that, is more than welcome. We've got at least 3 of us going so far.

That whole thing makes me laugh a little, i'm from Holland originally and my parents still live there never really knew they tried to pull stuff around there. Great place to visit though really.
