This is random, but I've got a few questions. Not sure if I'm keeping the E30 right now, but...

What is the best 4 lug BBK? Not interested in in RX7. Seems like WW, UUC, and Massive. The only one I've researched UUC. Is the larger diameter M3 master cylinder plug and play?

        What he said.

Massive is the best, bar none, for a 4 lug car. UUC's kit is actually pretty decent, but Massive's kit is better for a more track focused car.

I normally avoid all UUC products, but their BBK for the E30 isn't actually that bad. Massive's is better and more track focused, but also quite streetable.

Anyone know about running the larger diameter M3 master cylinder, is that plug and play?

I assume that it would be P&P providing they are the same brand as the one you have on your car. If not, it wouldn't be hard to make it work. Bleeding will definitely be the hardest part.

Why not use the 750 or w/e master cylinder everyone uses?

The ix booster and master from an e34 is an amazing combo, a big upgrade even from the m3 brake setup. I recommend steel braided lines though as old rubber lines will pop under the pressure. Ask me how I know...

Also makes it real easy when swap time comes... ;)

I just got some new daily driving tires on my car. Sam will appreciate an out the door price(including mounting/balancing/installation) of only $315 with a $50 mail in rebate(yeah total of $265). Not the best tires- falken ziex ze-512 - but that leaves me plenty of money for track tires!

My falken 912s lasted about 40k and were $350, so if I get 25k out of these I'll be more than happy...

                    Cheap = awesome. Lol

That's a better deal than I got from the Ukranians!

I'll price e34 masters. I know where there is an IX, not sure if it's got a booster though. I'm going w/ new masters no matter what. E34 + IX fits w/ swap then? I've fit SS lines already.

Just search 25mm master cylinder here. It's what everyone uses.

Sort of wondering the same thing after my rebuild and these new pads. Any stiffer would seem a little annoying.

I'm sure your ukranian tires are way better tires though.

I also know where there are 2 ix brake boosters, they happen to be in my garage, pulled from unsuspecting junkyard ix's around town... one is for my swap car to replace the fabbed 735 booster, and the other is for my coupe swap.

I can understand why you might like to swap them, more braking power is quite awesome, and you can get them to act like a full on race brake setup where the pedal barely moves (full travel around 10mm) and its just pressure on the pedal that determines how hard the brakes engage. Add a good set of calipers/rotors/pads and braking confidence goes through the roof. As long as you have sticky tires of course...

Braking power doesn't change whatsoever. All that changes is the amount of force you have to apply to the master cylinder to displace brake fluid into the calipers. There is no difference in braking performance, only a more FUH RAZE feel with the pedal, and far less modulation ability because of the increased force needed.
