Hawk HP+ are my favorite street pad of all the ones I've driven on (admittedly not a whole hell of a lot of pads). There's no downsides to driving on that daily, so long as you don't mind LOTS of noise and dust.

Get quieting nylon backing pads after track day and slap 'em on the back of your HP+ pads, it will quiet them down until next track day. They sell them at Pelican.

I greased the he'll out of them. Drove in the rain to Bimmerhaus late last night. Didn't get them fully bedded, but holy $&@! they are good!

Aren't those pads great? Fair warning, they likely will not stand up to full track beating, when they get too hot their friction drops off dramatically. Just be aware of your brakes, and don't drive 10/10ths, and you'll be fine.

I'll keep my mouth shut about Bimmerhaus service.

Violet/Broadway, stopped at a light, guy stops behind me, light turns green, cars in front of me haven't started going, he hits gas and BAM bumper is hanging oddly and right rear frame/bumper support is slightly kinked.

Got his insurance info and police report, and he got a ticket, so now it's body shop quote time and insurance kerfuffle.

Just got off the phone with the owner. A rancher that lives about an hour outside of town. His Father bought it new, gave it to his sister in high school, then he acquired it. His wife drove it every day for nearly 10 years before hitting a deer. It's been sitting at the body shop since 07, and he doesn't think it's worth much:D

The body shop has all the parts to fix the car, so hopefully I can work out an amount that makes both the rancher, and the body shop (fathers are friends) owner happy. Now how to make my wife happy about this...
