^^^hence, chopped stock springs + original shocks from 1987 = no care about blowing shocks.

eventually my E28 will get stiff springs/shocks, but we shall see when the time comes.

As long as you don't drive like a blind dumb ass and hit every pot hole in sight you will be fine. You wont blow shocks and you wont break oil pans.

Like Chris said, the springs have to be be stiff enough for how low your car is. my H&R Races are stiff enough on my 318is, I have never once smacked the oil pan, and M42 oil pans hang LOW.

That car is just hideous. Z3M wheels + slammed E28 + hipster bike rack + no front grill because it's "edgy" + e36 checker vinyl on the wrong color hood + ghetto front air dam = hipster retard douchecanoemobile.

Nowadays, E28s are either owned, rarely, by folks with taste or by folks with sideways hats, ironic too-small thrift store tshirts, and skinny jeans. Fuck that scene.
