Have I mentioned that I don't really like E28s?
Holy crap do the brakes suck, the lights suck, the M30 engine only makes noise but no thrust, the handling sucks, the steering sucks, the upright seating sucks, and the mpg sucks.
They do have excellent visibility and storage space though.
I could deal with the flaws aside from the brakes and lights. Sealed beams were invented by a retard inbred, and the brakes inspire less confidence than Congress actually doing good for the country.
Cannot wait to get my M3's engine back together.

Crazy scheme #987. Refinish bathroom and car port in San Marcos, CA for this. Still undecided about it. It has a few issues, but I have known the owner and car for over a decade. If it's a go, I'll probably do the work this winter and let the car stay in CA for a while. I'll have other car priorities this year.

I would like to get one at some point. I'm refraining as best I can from modding the M Coupe into a track beast. Not having $$ right now is really helping too.
The body lines on the TR6 are going to need some serious correction, along with dash, top, new suspension rubber, carb jets, electronic ignition, fuel pump, wet sanding, possibly more intensive paint correction. Money, money, money. Although it is a really good starting point that I think I can come out ahead of if I want to flip it. I've always had a soft spot for them too. My dad sold his E-Type for $12,000 in 1986, they were up to the mid $50k's ten years later. The big Healey's went next. I don't think British Leyland products will get astronomical, but TR6's have appreciated well in the last decade and weathered the financial crisis without tanking. I wish I never sold my first one.JOY IS AN E30...
