No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

Looking to move to fort Collins area
What's up guys, I'm looking to move to fort collins area from NYC...
I can't stand this city anymore, and my brother is looking at moving out to CO with his wife. How do you guys like it out west? I've been asking around and all I hear is good things, but what's the bad. I'm looking To move within the next 5 or so years. I'm a mechanic for NYC, and have many trades, as well as hobbies that are more suited for CO, rock climbing, snowboarding, bow hunting, and obviously E30s... What's the job/career scene like? I know the houses are a lot cheaper(when compared to NYC) how's the car scene? And just let me know what's up....
Thanks

If you don't do that stuff then it's really just another place to live that happens to be pretty. Don't expect the night life to be anything like NYC if that's you thing. There are a few good places in downtown Denver, but it's still a very small city.
The people are friendly, and they weather will make you say "wtf".
Job scene? Idk, there is a LOT of technology jobs here if you are an engineer/computer science person.
The car scene really isn't that great. AutoX is a pretty good turn out, and our local track has a good following. The "meets" are pretty small and infrequent though.

I live up in Fort Collins and there's a real small E30 crowd. It may just be me and Patrick, and I don't even have an e30 anymore. I've gone another direction for now..
I'm gonna be lookin for a bike or another car this summer. CO is really a fantastic place to be though, anything and everything is here. If you've got any desire to be outdoors, this place'll be good
PM me for detailing services in the Longmont / Boulder Area in Colorado!

That's a lot of what I've been hearing(sounded better in my head). I'm not much of a Night Life kinda guy, my idea of Night life is two 36 packs of coors and a turbo install... I'm not into the whole "Big Apple" thing, and the only reason I haven't come out there yet, is because I work for the city. How's the mechanics Feild, and the upholstery businesses out there? I'd love to get into rally, and offroading, but it's hard to do that when the only off road section of this island is govt protected, and I need to keep my E30 in the garage so it dosent dissappear again...Proud Owner and Operator.

Sam'll help with Rally lol. Myself, David, Roland, Chris, etc. etc. can help with Tarmac. As for work, not really sure on either field.
