For some reason I don't think that was a real listing. And now it's been flagged.

I don't have shit for spare parts right now.... On another note, does anyone know what might whine in the rear of the car, other than the diff, and get louder as speed increases? I'm thinking wheel bearings..... Which is gonna suck, cause that means my 4.10 LSD was fine...

I didn't think wheel bearings whined. I though they were a much more harsh sound.

I have only heard a failed front wheel bearing. The sound was very harsh and loud. It changed with speed, etc. I have never heard a rear one though.

You can try turning very hard left and right at moderate speed to see if it gets louder, but that might not work as with the rears because you aren't loading the wheel as much, if at all.

Jack the car up and spin the wheels by hand and see if you can hear grinding.

Thanks guys, I'll try it but I doubt I'll be hearing any grinding.

                            this does NOT suck.

Also, you can check rear wheel bearings by lifting a wheel off the ground, spinning it, and also grabbing the wheel and trying to twist it back and forth, kind of like if the rear wheels could steer, and if there is play, bad bearings!!

but a whining could also be driveshaft CSB or something like that. I dunno, i would have to listen to it.

If the noise increases as speed does, and doesn't go back down in pitch/volume/intensity after shifting, then your diff, driveshaft, or CSB is not happy.

If the whine rises and lowers with shifting, fuel pump.
