So the best thing you can do is jack up the car, and try to see where the oil is coming from, and what happened to make the oil inside the engine go outside the engine.
then post back here.
Thanks Samsigpic

Your car is haunted.... No loss in oil level, but there's a puddle... Time for an s50 euro mated to the e46 six speed
PM me for detailing services in the Longmont / Boulder Area in Colorado!

Adam, you should totally sell your M42 car to Roland (i didn't even know you had an M42 car btw) and use the money to build your other E30, and then Roland can finally be one of the cool kids and have an E30.

whoa that's pretty looking, but it sounds like it has a bit of mechanical problems. And the mileage does attest that this car lasts a long time, but also you may be digging into the motor/drivetrain soon for something. I personally think you can find a better deal if you keep looking.
btw, my car is off the market for the time being, it is getting a new(ish) 4.10 lsd from an E30 M3 (you da man, Ben!) and new heater components like a new resistor pack and I am trying to find another blower motor. I will also shod my car w/ some Falken ZE-912 rubber, and I may take it to autocross this November, and I am considering a track day at HPR, although it is highly unlikely with my current money situation.
besides, I sold the E28, and i really like my E30...
EDIT: after a quick CL search, not a SINGLE 1991 318is in the entire Mountain Central region...

There's some loony asking $3000 for his 84 318i on there too.
I really want a 318i (m10 based) or 91 318iS...
