As far as I know I am available anytime on the 23rd. I figured if Ian offered his place that he should pick a general time that works best. I will gladly help bring food/beer.

Sounds like there's too many enginners on here. Next thing someone will have an excel sheet planning this. How bout 3:00 at the previously mentioned lot, head up and down mtn should take an hour, then "grill". I'm canadian, so no brisket or sauce. Bring your prefered carcass to grill and some good CO beer to chase it down.

An excel sheet could and at some point prolly will be made. I think we need to do some math work and figure out exactly how long the drive up and down will take at our leaders preferred speed.

Because E36 M3s are actually somewhat fun to work on, and therefore get taken apart more often.

If I had an E30, it would be on the road all of them time because I would never want to work on it unless it was severely broken.

Agreed. The E30 is one of the easiest cars to work on. Kicks the crap outta the e36 for simplicity.

Are you on crack? Try pulling the front suspension on an e30 without anything other than 2 sockets and a half inch breaker bar in less than 10 minutes and get back to me.

I would agree. A e36 pretty much takes all the pain out of what the E30 causes. Mainly in the suspension.

Yes on an E30 you have to pop an extra ball joint per side on the front suspension. Some of them are a PITA (like Clark's), most of them pop out w/out much fuss. Engine-wise, M42 takes the cake for simplicity and ease, period. (excluding the M10 from this comparison, I have little M10 experience)

They are both easy to work on. There. Now let's talk about this here drive and BBQ.
