An E39 530i would be most excellent. The M54 is dead reliable, responsive and quick. It asks for little maintenance, which is always nice. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE E38s (specifically a late model 740iL Sport). They're just so smooth and soft, but handle fairly well for their size (If you get a sport). All in all, I'd get an E39 if you want something that's a little bit more fun. But then again..I know a handful of people who DD E38s, haha. Tough decision actually. Best of luck!

kuni was allotted 5 and somehow we sold 6. ive seen 2 come through for pre delivery inspections. im still not impressed. regardless what top gear says about it, its a overpriced 135 with wide fenders. id still order a super stripped m3 for almost the same price.
