Powder coating won't flex like paint would, so any flexing on install and it would crack and chip/flake off I believe.

Anyone looking for a 885 head? It's complete out of a 89 325i. Has about 104k according to the cluster. Rod came out the block at cylinder 1. Appears to have not damaged any valves but that's why I want to deal with someone local so you can see for yourself. Shoot me a text for pictures. Price 300 Obo thanks

You can powder coat window trim. But you might as well just properly paint it. I'll check my shadow line trim when I get home from work, but it appears to be a light powder coat.Hank Ahrens
