Should be able to be repaired without being totaled, what do you think?

I was up hill on James st in downtown seattle, and this lady pulls up behind me with about 10 feet between us. She then hits the gas and plows into me. Hope it's not totaled.

Be a dick with the insurance company, Make them fix it. They have the power to decide to total, or not total a car.

If they try and total it you could probably still keep it and get rebuilt title. Doesnt look like its bad enough to buckle the unibody frame rails.

Looks like your euro bumps made it out luckily.

That's definitely fixable.

It looks like the majority if the damage is confined to back panel which is still available new from BMW (replaced in on my race car.) Look in the trunk under the carpet for where the floor meets the back panel. You'll see a sh*t load of spot welds. If this is too deformed, you can get it whipped back in to shape. Like I said - I did this repair (and the left rear quarter on the racecar. It's maybe a couple grand if you shop around.
